We hope to welcome many kids at Adega Antiga.
Jelle will take them on great adventures, create beautiful things with naturals materials, build with wood, make toys, walk, swim, cook and much more!

Jelle has been working with kids for 20 years. He has a way with kids and all kids love being around him. He understands what they need, has all the patients in the world and always comes up with the coolest activities. No day will be the same.

When there are no activities, there is plenty of space for kids to play on their own and explore. Or take a look around in our kiddy library, climb trees, make mud cakes, and much more...

WALKING ROUTES
SCHIST VILLAGES
The area is well known for its many schist villages. There are some walking routes that take you to see many of them. But they can be hard and steep and sometimes involve some climbing. But it's worth the hard work!
There are various walking routes close to Adega Antiga. One of our favorites is the one that takes you down to the old Roman bridge of Pedrogoa Peqeuno and then follows the river Zezere for a while. It has amazing views of the river and when you're lucky you will spot some eagles or other birds.
There's also some routes that will take you all the way around lake Cabril or lake Bouca but they are for the experienced walkers amongst us.
